Are you looking for a charming, affordable venue for your special event?
Rent the Old Grantsville Church for your wedding, reception,
or family party! Use of the chapel, kitchenette, restrooms,
and beautiful grounds of this historic venue are included.
We provide the venue, as well as tables and chairs.
We do not provide a decorator or planning services.
White and ivory linens and chair covers are available to rent.
Decorations and food must be provided by patrons.

Non-profit organizations may use the building on a non-regular basis for $30/hour. (1 hr. free for set-up/take-down if you are in the building for at least 2 hours) Speak to us about price if you'd like to schedule a regularly recurring event.
Rental fees and policies
Two-hour minimum on all bookings
Deposit options:
A deposit of $50 must be paid in order to book an event date. The $50 deposit is non-refundable but may be used toward the total rental fee. Deposit may be paid by cash, credit card, Venmo @Old-Grantsville-Church or check made out to the Old Grantsville Church Foundation.Account balance will be charged upon entrance to the building on the day of the event. If the credit card doesn't work, patrons must provide other means of payment at that time.
Alcohol is not allowed on the premises, except as part of a special religious ceremony such as the exchanging of vows between the couple. The use of alcohol is to be approved by the owners, and is not for refreshments or toasts. An extra $300 deposit is required, with a signed agreement.
Included in the daily or hourly rental fee is use of the chapel (large gathering room), entryway, kitchenette, two public restrooms, bride's room (for weddings only), grounds, banquet tables, round tables, folding chairs, and any existing décor on the premises other than tablecloths. We will remove any of our existing décor that you do not wish to use.
As your event draws near, if you are paying the day rate, and there is nothing already booked the night before, you may ask us about setting up then at no extra charge. If there is an event booked, you may set up after the event is finished, even if it is late. You may also arrive very early in the morning to set up.
